Where can I go axe throwing in Cape Town?
Axe-O is an indoor axe throwing lounge at The Spice Yard, 100 Voortrekker Rd, Salt River, about 10 minutes from the Cape Town CBD.
How much does axe throwing cost?
Book a Lane is R285 per person for 75 minutes. Join the Tournament is R350 per person for 2 hours. Private events start at R350 per person, or R315 per person from 15 guests, and kids parties are R285 per child.
Do I need experience?
No. Every session starts with a safety briefing and coaching from our crew.
What should I wear?
Closed shoes are recommended. Wear something comfortable you can move in.
Can we drink while we throw?
Yes, The Doppery / BeerWorks is across the corridor. Our hosts will stop anyone who has had too much from throwing. The bar stays open, the axes don't.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Thursday 12h00 to 19h00, Friday 12h00 to 21h00, and Saturday and Sunday 12h00 to 19h00.
